03 Nov Harlow Council appoints Acting Managing Director in cost cutting measure
Harlow Council last night appointed an Acting Managing Director as part of a cost cutting measure.
Brian Keane has been appointed the Acting Managing Director for Harlow Council.
The interim appointment follows a proposal agreed by the Council in April 2017 to create a new single Chief Officer post for the authority.
Reducing the Council’s top management team to one post saves the authority more than £424,000 over the next four years.
Brian, who has been the Council’s Head of Governance for four-and-a-half years, will take up the post until a permanent appointment is made.
