GP practices in Clacton face changes

04 Aug GP practices in Clacton face changes

North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking views from local people on the services they receive at GP practices in Clacton.

The contract for services provided at these practices is due to expire on the 1st April 2018 and the CCG now needs to renew the existing contract or find a new provider to run services at these practices in the future.

Chief Officer at the CCG, Sam Hepplewhite, said: “We want the quantity of services to remain at the practices, however, we would like to know about patients’ experiences of services provided at these three practices to see if any changes should be considered before any new contract is implemented”.

Sam added: “We would like to provide services so that they are simpler for patients or carers to access so this is a really great opportunity for patients to provide any feedback to help us to continually improve services at our local practices”.

You can give your feedback by either asking the receptionist at one of the three practices for a questionnaire and returning it to the freepost address clearly marked on the questionnaire, or you can complete the online version at www.neessexccg.nhs.uk/current-engagement

The closing date for responses is Thursday 31 August 2017.
