29 Dec Gogglebox star Sandi Bogle recalls releasing her first single
2016 has been a year of chart topping successes and one particular star aiming for success is Gogglebox star Sandi Bogle who released her debut single ‘Casanova’ this year.
Recalling the release of the single early in the year she told us “When my manager Lee suggested that we remake the classic “Casanova” by coffee I was really excited, its such a classic tune, and one I remember dancing to back in the day.”
Sandi who hopped from the sofa to the studio to record her version of soul classic Casanova, previously released by both Ruby Andrews (1967) and Coffee (1980) spoke about the importance of keeping some originality in her version of the song “We didn’t want to change the song too much we wanted to keep all the original elements that makes the track great, but bring it back up to date and keep that funky vibe.”
Despite performing at private gigs and at karaoke bars, this will be the first time she’s taken her music to mass audiences.
We can’t wait to see what musical surprises Sandi has planned for 2017.
