Residents of Godden Lodge Care Home in Benfleet, Essex, enjoyed a heartwarming Easter celebration recently, hosted by The Beacon Church. The Easter service took place within the home’s Cephas Community, giving residents the chance to join the congregation in prayer and hymn singing.

Following the service, residents, family members, friends, and members of the church congregation came together for a relaxed social gathering, enjoying tea, coffee, cakes, and biscuits while sharing in the festive spirit.

Godden Lodge is delighted to have developed such a close partnership with The Beacon Church. In a touching gesture, the church minister, Richard, surprised the care home staff with a chocolate Easter egg, adding an extra sweet note to the celebrations.
