Glenn Tamplin’s nineteen game unbeaten Billericay Town FC outfit are set to be the biggest club in Essex.
Last night’s performance by Billericay Town at the AGP Arena saw hat-tricks from Billy Bricknell and Jake Robinson which led to Southend United crashing out of the Essex Senior Cup after an embarrassing 7-3 defeat.
Billericay Town match days have been heralded as a carnival like family day out and now NINETEENÂ games unbeaten, owner Tamplin is keen to grow the BTFC family which has seen average attendances almost triple since his takeover.
Seventh-tier Isthmian League club Billericay Town last week sailed through to the first round of the FA Cup in a decade, whilst last night’s fiery performance against Southend United who compete in League One, the third tier of English football – showed that the outlet isn’t shy to take on teams above them.
The man of the moment now dubbed Glenn “lion heart” Tamplin has single handedly taken on Non-League football like never before, helping many financially, physically, mentally and built a community.
