16 Sep Get digital at #Chelmsford Library
Engineers of the future are being invited to a digital workshop being held at Chelmsford Library this September.
The workshop, which is being run in partnership with the University of Westminster and Makercart, a pop up project promoting science, technology, engineering and mathematics, will offer the opportunity to design and create a prototype using digital tools.
Through the workshops, participants will learn about 3D printing and gain basic skills around using digital tools and electronics.
Cllr Anne Brown, Essex County Council Cabinet Member responsible for Libraries said: “Libraries are places to inspire creativity and to build the skills needed to work with today’s digital technology, whether in the workplace or the home.
“We are very happy to be hosting these workshops, which promise to be fun and packed with interest – a real chance to learn from each other.”
The free workshop will take place on Saturday 24th September at 11 am and again at 2 pm and will last two hours.
