29 May From bottomless drag brunches to hole in one donations – Puttshack to raise £10,000 during Pride
Teeing off for an incredible Pride month, Puttshack will partner with Not A Phase, the only UK charity that focuses solely on the support of trans+ adults, and will aim to raise over £10,000 in June. Putt for Pride will see every hole in one scored throughout June achieve a 5p donation across all four Puttshack venues: Bank, White City, Watford and Lakeside. Putters can head to the Puttshack website to see the live donation total rise, with each game played.
Founded in 2020 by Danielle St James, Not A Phase was created in response to the huge challenges trans+ adults currently face in the UK and is committed to uplifting and improving the lives of trans+ adults through community and joy. This Pride month, Puttshack will support Not A Phase in its vision to live in a world where Trans+ people have equal opportunity and feel safe to thrive as their authentic selves.
Adding to the Pride par-tee, everyone can expect tee-rific vibes this June as last year’s sell out Drag Brunch makes a return. Puttshack will host a series of music themed Drag bottomless brunches, from 80s and 90s pop to R&B, with prizes up for grabs. Those who book a spot will have a front row seat as Drag queens, Kara Katour and Mynxie put on special performances. Taking place on Sunday 11th June and Sunday 25th June in Bank, players can expect an incredible atmosphere with free flowing bubbles, beer and mocktails, followed by a round of competitive fun.
Those who visit Puttshack for Pride can expect an incredible feast, as Puttshack debuts its new spring and summer menus. From an Instagram worthy Sharing Skewer Tower to a delicious Charcuterie Board (in Bank), both made for sharing, to mouthwatering Oyster Mushroom Bao Buns, Mac n Cheese Croquettes and more, there is a dish for all taste buds. Delicious cocktails include Puttshack’s bright blue Bubblegum Mai Tai, fruity Rum Punch or sweet Golden Yuzu. Especially for Pride, Puttshack players can order a rainbow-hued Hennessy Island cocktail – the perfect sip to pose for Pride with. After dining, everyone should make their way to the course to try their luck at a hole in one.
