16 May Former UKIP candidate throws support at Conservative Robert Halfon
Sam Stopplecamp who was Harlow’s UKIP Parliamentary Candidate in 2015 has today thrown his support at Conservative candidate for Harlow Robert Halfon.
Halfon said “I’m delighted and honoured to have the strong support of Sam Stopplecamp who was Harlow’s UKIP parliamentary candidate at the 2015 General Election.
Sam is an honourable and decent man who cares deeply about the future of Harlow and our country.”
Halfon who launched his campaigned to be re-elected with the Brexit means Brexit message has been on most days campaigning by the A414 into Harlow, a common rallying spot in his two previous election wins.
Stopplecamp said “I passionately support Britain leaving the EU: I believe that only Theresa May and her local candidates can deliver this.”
Stopplecamp’s support comes amidst a latest poll in East of England put Conservatives on a +37 point lead over Labour in the upcoming general election.
