22 Nov The festivities are in full swing at intu #Lakeside’s Christmas Village
If you’re looking for festive fun, intu Lakeside has got it all this year at its Christmas Village which is now open for visitors until 1 January 2017. Magical wishes are being granted in Santa’s grotto, a traditional German Market is serving up delicious festive treats, whilst a stunning ice rink can be found at the heart of Christmas Village which is located in Car Park 3.
Glide into Christmas
This year, intu Lakeside has welcomed its first ever ice rink, offering visitors the chance to really get into the Christmas spirit. The rink, which is fully sheltered, features live music and its very own Crystal Bar where guests can enjoy a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, including festive cocktails and hot chocolate.

Enjoy the German market
If you’re left feeling peckish after your skating session, then why not head over to the enchanting German market where German bratwurst sausages, sweet treats and refreshments are on offer. You’ll also find some great rides for the little ones to enjoy whilst you sip on a delicious mulled wine.
Meet the man himself…
Of course, no Christmas experience would be complete without taking a trip to Santa’s magical grotto. Watch the little ones’ faces light up as they enter the grotto and enjoy the enchanted interactive activities as they make their way inside before meeting Santa himself. They’ll also receive a very special Playmobil gift to complete their visit.
