01 Nov Festival Leisure Park’s Halloween extravaganza proves spooktacular!
To coincide with the scariest day of the year, on Thursday 31st October Festival Leisure Park hosted their FREE Halloween extravaganza – filled with tones of trick and treats!
The free event saw hundreds of children (and parents!) dress up in their most monstrous fancy-dress costumes and head to the popular Basildon destination from 2-5pm.
Festival Leisure certainly made the most of its fantastic venues, seeing a host of fang-tastic activities take place across the park.
Plenty of freaky dance moves could be spotted in Unit 7, with the nightclub playing Halloween hits and entertaining children with a number of ghostly games!
A number of creepy arts and crafts took place in Hollywood Bowl, Frankie & Benny’s, Bella Italia and let’s not forget children’s favourite – slime workshops in Cineworld’s Atrium.
Festival also welcomed a host of creepy reptiles, seeing children have the chance to get up close to the likes of snakes, lizards and spiders.
Young horrors also enjoyed turning into their favourite Halloween character with free face painting at Toby Carvery.
If that wasn’t enough freaky fun, Festival Leisure Park also welcomed their very own Magician who entrained the crowds throughout the day with plenty of tricks!
Little monsters could also be spotted having a whale of a time on Festival’s free rides, with a merry-go-round and hook-a-duck proving popular.
Families also sunk their teeth into plenty of sweets after taking part in Festival’s trick or treat treasure hunt around the park.
