Festival Leisure Park supports Basildon Borough Council this Christmas with community gift card initiative

Festival Leisure Park is proud to have recently collaborated with Basildon Borough Council this Christmas to help spread #BelieveInBasildon festive magic across the local community, with a particular focus on supporting teenagers by giving them the gift of an experience. The campaign highlighted the importance of creating meaningful moments during the festive season, especially for young people who may otherwise have gone without.

Generous gift card contributions were provided by Festival Leisure Park tenants including Heavenly Desserts, Wagamama, PizzaExpress, Wendy’s and Hollywood Bowl. These donations will be distributed to residents in assisted living homes, children in need identified by local schools, and families and young people living in temporary accommodation, ensuring support reached a wide range of people across the borough.

The wider community was encouraged to take part by purchasing gift cards from Festival Leisure Park venues or their favourite local shops, with donations of any size welcomed and even small contributions making a real difference. Donated gift cards were collected via a drop-off point at Cineworld Basildon.
