FAY GREAVES SET TO WELCOME NEW CHALLENGES IN 2024

02 Jan FAY GREAVES SET TO WELCOME NEW CHALLENGES IN 2024

‘Faithful Fay’ Greaves, star of the BBC’s BAFTA & NTA award-winning hit series ‘The Traitors’, is ready to welcome new challenges in 2024 with her trademark dedication & enthusiasm.

As The Traitors makes its highly anticipated return, and 22 strangers play a murder-mystery-style game for a life-changing £120,000 cash prize, Fay shares insight on her own experience: “To be part of The Traitors is to know you can do anything -participating in the show has been one of the best experiences of my life. I can’t wait to see how the new season unfolds; what a way to celebrate the New Year!”.

Fay has always been hungry for new experiences; known for her positive and upbeat personality, she is proud to have made it to episode 10 of the first season: “Appearing in the show is intense; you must be vigilant in reading changes in people’s body language. It was like being part of a big family – which is wonderful, but at the same time, you knew there were people in the ‘family’ holding things back and being deceitful”.

Fay recently concluded a 30-year career in education, working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs, with responsibility for welfare and safeguarding and supporting teens and their families.

Fay, who is of Caribbean heritage, says: “My early life experiences ensured that I was well prepared to enter the difficult work I did for 30 years”.

Her lifelong commitment to volunteer work and her passion for basketball led Fay to successfully coach and mentor young men in the sport, often to achieve championship level. A tireless fundraiser, she has helped enable disadvantaged young people to participate in sport to the highest level; she was also selected as a GamesMaker for the London Olympics, acting as Team Liaison Officer for the Australian Women’s Basketball Team (Bronze Medallists).

The exposure Fay received as a result of The Traitors has further fuelled her work as a campaigner, as she proudly continues into 2024 as an ambassador for the NSPCC and Ripple Suicide Prevention, as well as hosting The Uncut Show – a regular YouTube show, chatting with celebrity guests from the entertainment world.
