Fatima Whitbread joins Essex dance school with Strictly Star for UK Charity campaign

Gold medallist and celebrity achiever Fatima Whitbread has joined forces with JAM Performing Arts to help raise awareness for her UK charity campaign to improve the system for children and young people in care, a cause which is very close to Fatima’s heart.

The collaboration will see JAM Performing Arts students taking part in performances alongside Fatima around the UK designed to highlight the campaign’s message through the power of dance.

The campaign will also feature Ellie Goldstein, the former Strictly Come Dancing star and first model with Down syndrome to appear on the cover of Vogue, who has recently joined JAM Performing Arts and will be supporting the initiative.

Fatima Whitbread said the partnership aims to ‘inspire and empower young people, proving that belonging matters, giving young people a voice and a stage to feel seen, heard and valued’

Representatives from JAM Performing Arts added ‘ We are proud to be collaborating with Fatima’s UK Campaign, to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people in care’.

Further event details are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
