01 Sep Exciting investment plans unveiled for expansion to Horizon 120 business park, Braintree

Marshgate Group is excited to be bringing forward proposals for Phase 2 of Horizon 120 Braintree. Located on the land west of their existing highly successful business park which will provide further significant financial investment in the local economy and employment opportunities locally.

Horizon 120 is a modern and innovative business park delivering much needed commercial space in Braintree and the wider Essex region.

Following the success of the current development, Marshgate Group is looking to expand the business park to provide larger logistics units, open space, new infrastructure, and connectivity to the wider business park and elsewhere in Braintree – including pedestrian and cycle links from the development to Great Notley Country Park.

Marshgate Group are keen to hear your thoughts on the proposals prior to a formal planning application being submitted to Braintree District Council. A consultation event is being held on Thursday 7th September 2023 at The Plaza, Rutherford Park, Braintree, CM77 7AU from 4pm-8pm. Residents will be able to speak to members of the project team, view the proposals, ask questions and provide feedback.

You can find out further information on the proposals, provide your feedback and get in touch with the team by visiting www.horizon120.com

A spokesperson on behalf of The Marshgate Group, commented:

“We are delighted to be consulting on our exciting plans for Phase 2 of Horizon 120 located west of our existing business park. This proposal will see further significant investment into our local economy supporting jobs and the need for more business and commercial space in our region.

Horizon 120 is already an exemplar business park for the region, providing in excess of 750,000 sq ft of hi-tech, industrial, office and logistics space and is home to a number of regional and national businesses, set in extensively landscaped grounds overlooking the Essex countryside.

We look forward to meeting with residents at the consultation event to gather feedback to help evolve the plans wherever possible”.
