Essex Young Performers Take the Stage at Hamleys Westfield White City this Half-Term

Talented young performers from Essex took centre stage this half-term as students from Razzamataz Brentwood, Billericay, Chelmsford, Hornchurch, Romford and Thurrock headed to Hamleys Westfield White City for an exciting day of performances and interactive workshops on Saturday 21st February.

Inspired by the much-loved story of Matilda, the Razzamataz students delivered lively performances throughout the day, celebrating themes of imagination, bravery and individuality. Following each showcase, visiting families were invited to join interactive Matilda-themed workshops designed to immerse children in the story through dance, drama and singing.

Razzamataz is well known for providing students with exciting performance opportunities that help build confidence, creativity and teamwork skills. These experiences give young people the chance to perform in professional environments while developing essential life skills that support them both on and off the stage.

“It is a real honour to partner with Hamleys to provide children and families with some half-term fun while introducing them to the wonderful world of performing arts,” says Jessica of Razzamataz Theatre Schools “We are passionate about creating opportunities that allow children to build confidence, express themselves creatively and discover new talents, and this collaboration allows us to do exactly that in a truly magical setting.”

The event also highlights the opportunities available to young performers from Razzamataz, who regularly take part in exciting experiences from live performances and workshops to collaborations with major brands.
