02 May Essex Police launches detective recruitment drive
For the first time in the force’s history Essex Police is launching a recruitment scheme for detectives.
The unique opportunity gives people the chance to step straight into the world of our detectives with a trainee role in one of our specialist departments.
Usually the pathway to becoming a detective is only open to existing officers serving within Essex Police who work to gain their professional accreditation.
Chief Constable Stephen Kavanagh said “Being a detective means you will deal with those criminals causing the most harm in our communities.”
Essex Police will open the recruitment for detectives on Tuesday May 1st and full details of how to apply can be found on their website now.
