12 Oct Essex Nursery gives back to its talented staff
A nursery in Essex has rewarded its dedicated members of staff with an ‘uplifting’ Annual Staff Awards ceremony.
The team at Little Adventurers Day Nursery, in Upminster, were thrilled and excited to be part of the special awards evening.
All members of staff were presented with a certificate celebrating their skills and talents, along with many special achievements and promotions over the past year.
Quarterly effort awards were presented to three staff members for their continuous dedication, and an appreciation voucher was gifted to the deputy manager for achieving a Level 5 qualification in Early Years and Childcare.
The bumper evening didn’t end there, as three restaurant vouchers were also randomly drawn by members of staff.
Ginny Andreas, manager at Little Adventurers Nursery, said: “We were thrilled to hold our Annual Staff Awards night recently for our fabulous staff team. All of our staff have a fantastic team approach and many are not just colleagues but friends outside of work as well.
“We are passionate about showing our team how much we value them through a range of benefits and staff events with this annual awards ceremony being one of them.”
She continued: “The staff are really enthusiastic and excited to support and celebrate one another’s talents and achievements – it’s a wonderfully uplifting evening.”
Throughout the year, the nursery rewards its team with appreciation gifts, longevity awards and restaurant vouchers, as well as treating them to complimentary celebrations such as at Christmas and in the summer.
Little Adventurers Nursery also encourages and supports further training and enhanced qualifications.
The setting currently has four apprentices who are supported with hands-on training by a Quality Lead Officer. Three members of staff are studying for a Level 2 qualification and one is studying Level 3. As well as this, the nursery has two nursery practitioners also studying Level 3.
Aside from this, many of the practitioners are supported to further their own Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and often sit individual courses using the nursery’s training platform.
The management team strive to recruit high quality, qualified practitioners who share the same commitment of providing the best learning opportunities for children. It is this shared ethos that ensures Little Adventurers Nursery is a place where children are truly cherished.
