21 Sep Essex Chambers of Commerce networking event in Harlow hailed a success
Last week, Essex Chambers of Commerce held their first Harlow Horizons Networking Event which was very popular with local businesses with over 50 people in attendance.
The presentations by Paul Willis, Stansted Airport Transformation Project Director and Christian Brodie, Chairman, South East Local Enterprise Partnership were extremely interesting and prompted lots of questions from the audience on the future plans for Stansted Airport and the Strategic Economic Plan which details potential areas of growth and opportunities for businesses in the South East.
Stansted’s growth plans are set to amplify businesses’ future aspirations and needs as this has very much been at the centre of discussions.
Paul Willis, Stansted Airport Transformation Project Director said, “With Stansted Airport having the position as the UK’s fastest growing airport and largest single site employer in the East of England contributing £1 billion annually to the UK economy, it is important to speak to local businesses to learn how the growth is impacting them.”
The next Essex Chambers of Commerce Harlow Horizons event is on Thursday 16 November 2017 between 4.30pm and 6.30pm at The Harlow Arena, Harlow Town Football Club, Elizabeth Way, Harlow CM19 5BE The topic for this event is – Creating growth for all in the UK’s innovation corridor.
