17 Mar Emma Blackery announces UK tour

Yesssss Emma Blackery has announced her upcoming UK and Ireland tour and we are soooo excited !

Not just content with announcing her debut book ‘Feel Good 101′, YouTube sensation Emma returns with brand new EP ‘Magnetised’ and an 8 date tour around the UK and Ireland, culminating with her biggest headline show to date at London’s iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Tickets go on sale on Monday 20 March at 4pm.

Last night she tweeted her 500,000 strong Twitter army telling them “to be able to play shepherd’s bush is a dream i never dared to have. only in my mind whilst dancing in my bedroom at 1am did it ever happen.”

Following an incredible 2016, which included a sell-out headline tour and supporting Busted nationwide, Essex-born Emma now returns with a new musical direction, evolving from the infectious pop-punk sounds of 2016’s ‘Sucks To Be You’ to a new offering of emotionally driven pop.

Self-taught musician Emma has always had musical ambitions – having created a YouTube channel to get her music heard she now enjoys over 1.3 million subscribers, and has had more than 140 million views to date! December saw Emma plastered across London’s buses, tube stations and lit up in Piccadilly Circus as one of the faces of YouTube’s Made For You campaign,

Her 2013 EP ‘Distance’ went to number one on the iTunes rock chart in the first week of sales, whilst in 2016 her single ‘Sucks To Be You’ (from the EP of the same name) charted at number 4 within just 15 hours.

Known for her quirky, witty personality, Emma stands alone from her peers for speaking out honestly with a self-deprecating humour and a quick tongue. Emma caught the attention of Elle Magazine who named her one of their ’30 Women Under 30 Who Are Changing The World’ in 2016, and was approached to host BBC Radio 1’s ‘Internet Takeover’ show.
