Easter Sunday Lunch – Three courses £25; Children half price
Enjoy a lovely Easter lunch in the Grill Room, served between 12:30pm – 3:00pm. Tuck into starters of smoked mackerel and crème fraiche potato salad or watercress soup, followed by a hearty roast sirloin of beef with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and seasonal veg or pan fried coley, crushed new potatoes, samphire and caviar cream sauce. Top it all off with a decadent chocolate brownie sundae or vanilla crème brulèe with almond biscotti.
Easter Afternoon Tea – £30 per person (£15 per child)
Throughout the Easter weekend, Down Hall will be offering a special Easter Afternoon Tea in the historic splendour of the Ibbetson’s Tea Lounge. Served between 1pm – 5pm, add on a glass of bubbly and enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, warm butter scones and an array of indulgent desserts such as white chocolate and mango mousse egg shell, chocolate and vanilla marble cake and carrot cake. Fresh-out-of-the-oven hot cross buns to follow!
After you have had your Sunday lunch, head to the gorgeous grounds and crack the location of some sweet chocolate eggs and treats with the kids at Down Hall’s annual Egg Hunt. Down Hall will also gift a child an egg to take home – hoppy times for all.
