Caroline Fright, Managing Director and co-founder of Tendring-based Carbon Numbers, has been announced as a finalist in two categories at the prestigious 2025 Best Business Women Awards. Recognised for her outstanding leadership in the sustainability and business services sectors, Caroline is shortlisted for both Best Business Woman in Business Services and Best Green Business.
Founded in 2012 by Caroline and husband Neil Fright, Carbon Numbers is an award-winning energy management company that delivers pioneering low-carbon solutions to businesses and public institutions across the UK. Under Caroline’s leadership, the company has achieved more than £45 million in energy savings for clients ranging from global retail brands to leading universities. Her dual nomination acknowledges her success in a male-dominated industry, her commitment to gender inclusion, and her relentless drive to accelerate the UK’s journey to Net Zero.
