The Leader of Harlow Council, Cllr Dan Swords, has confirmed the reappointment of his Cabinet with no changes.
The move signals stability at the top of the council as it continues its work to Build Harlow’s Future and deliver on its missions and priorities for residents.
The Cabinet will continue to be led by Cllr Dan Swords as Leader, supported by:
Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Housing: Cllr David Carter
Cabinet Member for Corporate Services and Transformation: Cllr Hannah Ellis
Cabinet Member for Environment and Enforcement: Cllr Nicky Purse
Cabinet Member for Planning and Garden Town: Cllr Michael Hardware
Cabinet Member for Finance: Cllr James Leppard
Cabinet Member for Culture and Community: Cllr Danielle Brown
Announcing the decision, Cllr Swords, said: “Last week’s historic council election sent a clear message: my administration has the strongest mandate in decades to finish the job. We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform this town, and we will seize it. We will leave no stone unturned as we continue Building Harlow’s Future.
“We have already laid strong foundations and delivered significant change. But now we must go further, faster, and with even greater urgency. That work starts now, and today’s announcement ensures progress without disruption as we continue Building Harlow’s Future.
“We have heard Harlow residents loud and clear, and we will not let them down.”
