04 May COSMO PYKE ANNOUNCES UK & IRELAND HEADLINE TOUR
Following his sold out intimate tour this month singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and multi-disciplinary artist Cosmo Pyke has announced a huge run of new UK and Ireland dates for November 2023.
Kicking things off in Brighton on 18th November, he’ll perform a further eight dates concluding with a headline show at Belfast Voodoo on 29th November.
Cosmo recently released his new single ‘Curser’s Lament’, the title track of his new EP that follows on 5th May. Originally recorded with producer Fraser T. Smith, Curser’s… was Pyke’s first song, and appeared just before his debut EP Just Cosmo. The 2023 CL EP is an amalgamation of updated classics and new songs, each track showing a different side to Pyke’s life growing up in south London with anecdotes of love, lust and heartache.
Cosmo spins eloquent but relatable tales of Gen Z life, intertwined with references from art, literature and musical history. Combining sounds from indie, jazz, and blues mixed with elements of hip hop, he is an old soul with lyrical dexterity that smacks of a vocabulary well beyond his years, with captivating wordplay that draws you into his stories layered with irresistible grooves and rhythms.
In 2022, Cosmo’s Brodie Sessions (Live EP) was released, encompassing the audio from his stunning acoustic set at the home of the Danish creative collective. The session’s accompanying dreamy audio-visual production showcases the best of this artist’s talent. Tracks performed at the Brodie Sessions are taken from revered songs that make up the 2020 EP A Piper For Janet, released on Cosmo’s own Pykrete Records.
Tickets for the new tour go on sale Friday 5th May at 10am and will be available from www.cosmopyke.com
