Comedian Rob Auton will be bringing his critically-acclaimed show, The Talk Show, around the country this spring as part of a nationwide tour and performing at Colchester Arts Centre on 18th May.
The Talk Show was the second best reviewed comedy show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August. Rob is an award-winning comedian and poet, who has been coined ‘The Brian Cox Of Comedy’ by the Guardian, recently had a clip of him performing on Comedy Central go viral with 7 million views on Facebook and counting and won Dave’s Funniest Joke Of The Fringe Award.
Through his command for words and offbeat humour, Rob has built a cult Fringe following for shows exploring seemingly mundane subjects: hair, sleep, water, faces, the sky and the colour yellow.
Last year at Edinburgh Festival, Rob played The Hair Show to packed rooms, enjoyed critical acclaim including picking up Three Weeks’ Editor’s Choice Award and performed part of his hour at the BBC curated Best Of Edinburgh 2017.
