He says: “It is very important that we celebrate success, not only of our finalists but also the successes achieved every day by thousands of our colleagues caring for some of the most vulnerable in our society. I am extremely proud that in our 25th year we are all colleagues, a team, a family.”
Wishing to be totally inclusive, and whilst colleagues and sponsors gathered in Heythrop Park for the awards, over 10,000 cupcakes were sent to all Caring Homes Group homes and services so that colleagues working that day, residents and those the organisation supports, could join in the celebrations.
The Caring Homes Group was established in 1994 by registered nurse Helena Jeffery and her son Paul. Since then the company has grown to become one of the most highly respected independent care and support providers in the UK.
