Colchester is the most dangerous region in the U.K. for learner drivers according to new data from Bill Plant Driving School.
By requesting FOI’s from the DVLA and DFT regarding the number of reported road accidents involving drivers with a provisional licence, and comparing this data to the total number of provisional licence holders in each area, Bill Plant Driving School can now reveal the areas where learners are most likely to be an accident.
The report also disclosed that while Colchester is the area where learner drivers are most at risk with 25.20 provisional licence holders involved in road accidents per 10,000, it subsequently found that Peterborough is the area where learner drivers are the least at risk of a road accident – with 0.57 provisional licence holders involved in road accidents per 10,000.
