28 Nov Colchester care home to spread festive cheer
A Colchester care home is preparing to celebrate the festive season by opening its doors to the public and staging a Christmas Bazaar.
The annual event, which takes place on the 2nd of December, is organised by specialist nursing and dementia care home Foxburrow Grange, and will see residents, their relatives and the local community come together to get into the Christmas spirit.
The Bazaar will be opened by Colchester Mayor, Councillor Gerard Oxford, and will feature a range of festivities, including live music, gift stalls, craft stalls, a tombola and raffle with prizes, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.
Staff, residents and volunteers will all help run the event, with donations by attendees and businesses going to causes chosen by residents and their families.
The Foxburrow Grange Christmas Bazaar will open at 2pm on the 2nd of December and all are welcome to attend.
