22 Nov COLCHESTER BASED ARTIST ALICE NICHOLLS LAUNCHES NEW BEAUTY RANGE
Some of Essex’s finest creatives got together to celebrate the launch of Four Tattoo Care on November 17th 2021 at brand founder Alice Nicholls’ The Fine Art of Tattoo Colchester studio.
With a soulful music performance from Claudette Birch and an accompanying art exhibition in the Studio’s permanent gallery with Maldon based artist Susie M, over 50 guests were treated to an evening of entertainment and creativity, culminating in the reveal of Four Tattoo Care: a collection of four balms formulated and hand-poured by Alice.
One of the UK’s leading tattoo artists with her own distinctive style and studying for a fine art degree, Essex-born Alice has worked for over 10 years in the industry. The Four Tattoo Care Balms were created out of the idea that she couldn’t find any suitable cream, balm or gel that could offer real benefits to newly tattooed or inked skin and that most on offer were functional and didn’t have any real feel-good appeal.
Alice researched the ingredients used in each balm wanting only to use the finest natural ingredients to have real benefit to the skin. Each of four bespoke balms target a skin type and are suitable to be used on different areas of the body – something that was important to Alice. They look stunning too, packaged in sustainable jars you’d be happy to show off in your bathroom!
All natural and cruelty free, take the lid off the balm and the delicate scent of potent essential oils will give a spa-like feel to tattoo after care so you’ll want to go on using them.
Alice says: ‘I began making Four Tattoo Care Balms when I was searching for an all-natural and more feminine option to tattoo after care and found there just wasn’t one! I’m hoping that using these products and being able to offer them in studios, salons and clinics will boost your experience, knowing that your tattoo will be protected with colour that stays looking fresh!’
