CHOPSTIX, the UK’s favourite noodle bar, has announced it will be opening in Colchester for the first time.
Joining its growing network of over 125 locations nationwide, the new store, which is located at 25 West Culver Street, is set to open its doors at 11 AM on Thursday, 5th March, with a massive opening-day event for eager fans.
To celebrate the launch, Chopstix are giving away free medium box meals to the first 100 customers, along with 1000 spring rolls. Fans will also have the chance to win free merch, discount vouchers and app points throughout the day.
Open Monday to Sunday, the new store will bring over 20 new jobs to the city and seat 66 eager diners.
Chopstix has quickly become one of the UK’s most popular quick-service restaurants, with its focus on Asian flavour in a quick, accessible way making it a firm favourite throughout the country.
As well as take away classics like Sweet & Sour Chicken and Salt ‘N’ Pepper Chicken, Chopstix has a range of fresh flavours, including the spicy Firecracker Chicken with a fiery garlic and chilli seasoning, and brand favourites like Chicken Katsu Curry and the restaurant’s signature Caramel Drizzle Chicken.
Fans will also be able to order delivery or takeaway from the new store to satisfy any cravings they have at home.

The new Chopstix store marks the brand’s first opening of 2026, building on a strong 2025 that saw 17 new store openings and refurbishments across the UK, including Leeds, Huddersfield and Hull, as well as the launch of the new Chopstix 3.0 concept in Bridgend.
The noodle bar’s popular dishes are also available to order through Chopstix Delivery and Click & Collect via the website or Chopstix app, as well as from delivery platforms including UberEats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
