09 Apr Children are assured of an eggs-tremely fun time at East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices this Easter
Children are assured of an eggs-tremely fun time at East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) in Stanway this half-term, with the charity shop to host a series of Easter-themed events.
Between 10am and 1pm on Tuesday 9th, Thursday 11th, Tuesday 16th and Thursday 18th April, the staff and volunteers will run colouring competitions, and various craft activities such as making an Easter bunny headband. Little ones will be encouraged to enjoy a great collection of toys, a special Peppa Pig soft play area and be challenged to join an Easter egg hunt. There will also be an opportunity to win a number of prizes.
Sophie Moles, EACH Shop Manager, said:
“Please join us and bring your children along for a whole lot of fun and, whilst they’re enjoying themselves, browse our fantastic range of clothing, homewares, games, craft accessories, books and so much more on our shelves here.”
EACH’s shop in Stanway (CO3 0AB) is located off Peartree Road next to Tool Station, opposite the Co-op. It opened in December and trades seven days a week. The charity welcomes donations of clean and good-quality items, with sales profits going towards the care of children and young people with life-threatening conditions, and support for their families.
The new shop is also looking for volunteers to join their friendly team. Whether you’d like gaining experience in Retail, make new friends or just want to support a great cause for families in north Essex, please just get in touch. Anyone interested in volunteering at the shop can contact Sophie on 01206 239536 or [email protected].
