01 Oct Chelmsford’s Channels Estate hosts ‘All things Christmas’
Channels certainly has Christmas in the bag this year! As well as hosting Christmas lunches, dinners, party and tribute nights, they are also organising a magical weekend of Christmas fun and celebrations to get everyone and their dogs in the mood for the festive season!
Katie Squire – a member of the fourth generation of the Stubbings family to own and operate Channels – the beautiful estate in Little Waltham near Chelmsford, is hosting Santa together with a Christmas market and a very special doggie’s Christmas party from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th November.
The event kicks-off on Friday 12.00-3.00pm and then again at 4.00pm -9.00pm with a Christmas market brimming with original handmade and vintage gifts and gorgeous festive decorations.
Santa will arrive by sleigh at 5pm and will open his fabulous NEW grotto at 6.00pm – 9.00pm. Adults will be able to enjoy live music, festive food, mulled wine, cider and real cask ales.
It might sound barking, but the Doggie’s Christmas Party on Saturday 24th November at 10.00am – 1.00pm and 2.00pm – 5.00pm, was a huge success last year and is again generating a lot of interest. The party includes festive stalls with doggy gifts, a pet photographer, dog display team and a professional dog groomer.
And just to ensure that the kids don’t feel left out, from Sunday 25th November, Channels will host a series of ‘Breakfast with Santa’ events where they will be able to write their Christmas wish list before meeting the big man himself!
All events are ticket only entrance. Tickets go on sale from 1st October 2018. Box office is open Monday – Friday 10am – 2pm only for ticket sales.
