15 Mar Brevion Bridge Club Celebrates 25 Year Anniversary
Brevion Bridge Club was founded by Ron Webb, and Carolyn Irving 25 years ago.
Although closed during lockdown, the club is now back open and has a loyal Face to Face membership, with at least ten tables a week and growing. The club meets in the Millennium Hall, Great Baddow every Thursday night. Brevion Bridge Club is a friendly club that has always welcomed early learners.
Ron Webb and Carolyn Irving have both taught Bridge for many years. Their success is in helping new learners transition from lessons to Club Bridge. And, this is down to the friendly and social atmosphere at Brevion Bridge Club that has kept the club thriving.
Ron and Lyn have used the anniversary to retire from the club and to pass Brevion Bridge Club into the safe hands of Valdie Poter. Valdie has vowed to always respect Ron and Lyn’s values. He offers Bridge Lessons and when students are ready, an easy transition to Club Bridge at Brevion, the Club that will always welcome early learners!
To join the club or learn to play Bridge in a social and friendly club, please visit Brevion Bridge Club and get in touch with Valdie.
