Brentwood Centre to produce Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

21 Nov Brentwood Centre to produce Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The Brentwood Centre is delighted to confirm that it has taken an exciting step forward by producing a community production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in April 2018 – and the search is on to find the Brentwood Joseph. And it could be you!

Have you ever dreamed of playing Joseph, one of the most exciting roles in modern musical theatre. Then please read on.

The amateur concert version of ‘Joseph’, first seen 20 years ago at Methodist Central Hall in Westminster will be an exciting new community venture at the Brentwood Centre with a choir of up to 200. EVERYONE knows Joseph, whether it be ‘Close Ev’ry Door To Me’, ‘Go go go Joseph’ or the best finale ever written, ‘Any Dream Will Do.’ And this could be YOUR opportunity to take part in front of an audience of up to 2,000 people.

Auditions will be on 6 and 7 January, with rehearsals starting the following week, every Saturday from 9am to 1pm in a Brentwood location (to be confirmed).

The Producers are also seeking choir members of all ages (from 6 upwards) who are free to rehearse every Saturday through until April, with performances on 14 and 15 April.

The Producer (on behalf of The Brentwood Centre) is Mark Reed (photo attached) who first produced the concert style production in May 1998 at Methodist Central Hall.
