Braintree District Council has announced that it will be hosting a Job Fair this autumn, to assist those looking for work in the district.
The Council will be hosting the Job Fair on Saturday 7 October from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Causeway House, Bocking End, CM7 9HB.
The event will feature a range of different employers from various industries recruiting for roles, located locally and across Essex.
Attendees can find out about current vacancies, register with the employers, collect key information about the companies there and ask any questions about available roles.
There will also be a live jobs feed on the Braintree District Council X (formerly Twitter) account @BraintreeDC providing live updates on current vacancies and roles throughout the day.
The event is free to attend and no booking is necessary with free parking available at Causeway House.
Cllr Frankie Ricci, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth and Inward Investment, said: “Job fairs are a great opportunity to talk to a range of different employers and industries in the local area. Whether you’re looking for your first job, a new job or a new career – be sure to drop in to the event in October to make important contacts and see the opportunities available in the district.”
