29 Apr Braintree District Council announce dates for community events
Braintree District Council has announced dates for a series of upcoming Community Catch Up events that will take place across the district.
The events are in partnership with Essex Police and Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and are aimed at informing residents on what services, support and activities are on offer in the district.
Places for the events are free, but need to be pre-booked in advance. Attendees will also receive a free lunch.
The events are running between 10am and 2pm on the following dates:
• Thursday 26 May – Braintree Town Hall, Market Place
• Wednesday 6 July – Halstead Library, Bridge Street
• Thursday 13 October – Witham United Reformed Church, Newland Street
Cllr Frankie Ricci, Cabinet Member for Communities, said:
“There are so many great services, support and activities available throughout the district that people aren’t aware of, so this event is the perfect opportunity to find out more about what is available to you in the local area, get out there and meet new people.”
