Students at The Boswells School in Chelmsford are celebrating “another year of excellent A Level results”, with students securing a wide range of next steps, including places at universities such as Durham, Loughborough and Southampton alongside competitive degree apprenticeships.
This year’s cohort achieved exceptional progress across a broad range of subjects. The results continue The Boswells School’s track record of academic success, with achievements once again among the highest in the school’s history.
Stephen Mansell, Headteacher at The Boswells School, said: “We are incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved. These exceptional A level results reflect not only their hard work and commitment, but also the support of their families and the expertise of our staff. Beyond the results, we are particularly impressed with how they have supported one another and developed the confidence, maturity and ambition needed for the next stage of their journey. We look forward to hearing about the incredible things they will accomplish in the years ahead.”
Among the students celebrating today are:
Ethan, who achieved A* grades in Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics as well as an A grade in Computing and will be progressing to the University of Southampton to study Aeronautics and Spacecraft Engineering.
Juliet, who achieved an A* grade in Psychology and A grades in Biology and Mathematics and will be progressing to Durham University to study Biological Sciences.
Robbie, who achieved A grades in Law, Politics and Psychology and will be progressing to the University of Manchester to study Politics and Social Anthropology.
Maja, who achieved a Distinction* in Performing Arts and A grades in Dance and Media Studies and will be progressing to the University of Greenwich to study Professional Dance and Musical Theatre.
Vincent, who achieved A grades in History, Mathematics and Politics and will be progressing to Cardiff University to study Mathematics.
Isobella, who achieved A grades in History, Philosophy & Ethics and Sociology and will be progressing to the University of Essex to study Politics and International Relations.
Kit, who achieved an A* grade in Law, an A grade in History and a B grade in Mathematics and will be progressing to the University of Exeter to study Law.
Michael, who achieved A grades in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry and will be progressing to Anglia Ruskin University to study Optometry.
Amanda Whitehead, Head of Sixth Form, said: “This year’s cohort should be incredibly proud of their achievements. Alongside their academic success, they have embraced the full range of opportunities available through our Sixth Form’s Super Curricular programme. From becoming national champions in sports and performing arts to excelling in academic competitions and enrichment activities, they have developed valuable skills that will support them throughout their future endeavours. While we are sad to see them leave, we know they are leaving us well prepared to thrive in their chosen fields.”
