15 Nov Borough Council CEO joins Essex Chambers to meet Southend businesses
Essex Chambers’ Chief Executive Denise Rossiter was joined by fellow Chief Executive, Ali Griffin of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, for a tour of Chamber members in Southend. The purpose of the tour was to enable Ms Griffin to meet various Chamber members and find out how their businesses are doing.
Speaking after the tour Denise Rossiter said: “Southend is a very enterprising town which we see in the variety of businesses that are members of the Chambers. We obviously work closely with them but also with the Borough Council so were pleased to be able to take Ali to meet some of our members and learn first-hand about how they are doing, what challenges they face and what they would like to see happening in Southend in the future. I am delighted that Ali was able to join me and meet our members”
Ali Griffin, Chief Executive of Southend on Sea Borough Council, added: “I was delighted to have the opportunity to meet some of the people who keep Southend in business. I met a wide range of businesses from all different sectors, with local, national and international markets demonstrating the diversity and strength of Southend’s economy”
“I’d like to thank the Chambers for arranging the visits and look forward to continuing to work with and support local businesses in future”
The businesses visited were 3D Filaprint, Crucis Designs, CHC Construction, Kaisertech and Rickard Luckin.
