07 Nov Blackwater Leisure Center to host Indoor Charity Triathlon for Women
Maldon District Council have teamed up with Blackwater Leisure Centre to help encourage women in the Maldon District to keep active as winter approaches.
Using Active Essex funding on Sunday the 20th November, Blackwater Leisure Centre will be hosting a women’s only Indoor Triathlon from 9.15AM – 11AM. All participants should arrive before 9AM to take part. Everyone will be encouraged to get involved and have some fun, whilst raising funds for Breast Cancer Care UK. The event has been designed for all abilities, so participants will tackle 1.6KM on the treadmill, 4KM on the bike and 200m in the pool!
For any would-be participants who want to raise money for a fantastic cause whilst taking on a new challenge, it’s worth remembering we have a limited number of spaces for the event. We will be offering 60 free spaces on a first come, first served basis.
