04 Mar Billericay FC sail to victory under new caretaker manager

Billericay FC looked every bit comfortable and composed as they sailed to victory against Harlow Town FC in this afternoon’s game at The Harlow Arena.

At full time the score came in 2-0 for the Blues who are under the watchful eye of ambitious caretaker manager and owner Glenn Tamplin.

Tamplin earlier this morning shared a message with his followers on social media site Twitter saying “Awake 5am very nervous after what we achieved in few months off the pitch it’s in my hands on the pitch

🙏🙏🙏🙏 don’t let BTFC down 😪😅

Adam Cunnington headed home in the first half before Billy Bricknell’s second half goal sealed the victory for the very comfortable Blues side.

The game also marked the debut appearance of star signing Paul Konchesky who was officially announced at the club last Thursday.

The Blues side were without Joe Ellul who has a two match ban and Lewis Taaffe who is still suffering from a flu bug.
