17 Oct Basildon Children’s Charity Welcomes Amazon Donation
A children’s cancer charity in Basildon has received a £1,000 donation from the Amazon fulfilment centre in Tilbury.
The donation was made to Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, a charity that supports families during their child’s journey through cancer diagnosis, treatment and beyond. The charity, which has been supporting the Essex community for more than 30 years, provides services tailored to each child’s needs through emotional, financial, and practical support.
The donation from the Amazon team will be used by the charity to provide essential financial support to families in crisis whilst battling childhood cancer
Ruzanna Sargsyan, General Manager at Amazon in Tilbury, said:

The donation to Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund was made as a part of Amazon’s programme to support the communities around its operating locations across the UK.
Amazon is providing disadvantaged students with online STEM courses, as well as teaming up with charity partner Magic Breakfast and delivering more than five million healthy breakfasts to families in England.
