Basildon Business Expo open for bookings

29 Jul Basildon Business Expo open for bookings

Following the success of the last two events, Essex Chambers of Commerce and Basildon Borough Council have joined forces again to host Basildon Business Expo 2019 at the Holiday Inn in Basildon.

This years’ Expo will take place on Thursday 24th October from 10.00am to 3.00pm and to start the day off there will be a Breakfast Networking event from 8.30am to 10.00am. As well as the opportunity to meet with like-minded business people from Basildon and beyond, attendees will hear from the Chairman of Basildon Council’s External Affairs, Partnerships and Liaison Committee, Councillor Aidan McGurran, about the council’s plans for the future of the town and supporting local businesses.

The exhibition will feature a variety of businesses of various types and sizes so there will be plenty to interest attendees. Details of how to exhibit or attend can be found by going to www.basildonbusinessexpo.co.uk or by phoning 01268 209050.

Speaking about the Expo Denise Rossiter, Chief Executive of Essex Chambers of Commerce, said

“Basildon is one of the most enterprising towns in Essex having recently celebrated its’ 70th birthday as a New Town so it is good to be working with the Borough Council to stage another business expo and highlight what it can offer businesses large and small. We look forward to welcoming new and previous exhibitors for what we are sure will be a great day”

Cllr Adele Brown, Basildon Council’s Chairman of the Infrastructure and Inclusive Growth Committee added: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Essex Chambers of Commerce that shows Basildon is a great place to do business and it’s events like this that promote why the borough is a good place to invest”

“Local businesses are already registering to exhibit to showcase what they do, and the Expo is a great event for businesses to share their success stories, network and to hopefully secure more business. I would encourage any businesses who has not already signed up to not leave it too late.”
