21 Mar Award Winning Comedy ‘Eaten By Lions’ Coming to Essex
This March the award-winning comedy EATEN BY LIONS will be coming to Essex!
Following a successful World Premiere at EIFF, EATEN BY LIONS will be hitting cinemas from 29th March and in celebration of the film’s release we do also have interview opportunities available with one of the leads, Trollied star & Britain’s Got Talent finalist Jack Carrol – do let me know if you would be interested in speaking to him?
The film stars some of Britain’s best-loved comedians alongside bright new acting talent including Screen International’s 2018 ‘Star of Tomorrow’ Antonio Aakeel (City of Tiny Lights, Tomb Raider, The Hungry, Skins), BAFTA & Emmy award-winning Asim Chaudhry (Black Mirror, People Just Do Nothing,) actor and producer Johnny Vegas (Still Open All Hours, Benidorm), Kevin Eldon (Game of Thrones, Hot Fuzz) and Vicki Pepperdine (Getting On, Camping).
The film follows Omar (Antonio Aakeel) and Pete (Jack Carroll), who are half-brothers. When their parents are eaten by lions they embark on a journey to find Omar’s real father. What follows is a funny, heart-warming journey of self-discovery for both boys…in Blackpool. The Choudray family represents a truly contemporary example of modern multicultural Britain – but what will the brothers make of their eccentric newfound family? Will they be going to Mecca or Mecca bingo? In contrast to the old fashioned stereotypes about Blackpool, the comedy is sharp, current and non-stop…
