24 Oct Autisms Got Talent star Calvin Glen gets Royal nod
by Tasha Turner
Fresh from performing at the Autisms Got Talent roadshow in Basildon, Calvin Glen has had a roller coaster few weeks.
The young star recently got a Royal nod as he joined fellow teen heroes who were honoured by The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry at Kensington Palace last week.
Calvin’s Mum Marie Glen told us “The past two weeks have been a phenomenal experience, absolutely amazing. I am exceptionally proud of Calvin who decided four years ago to change his life around and dedicate himself to raising awareness for autism and mental health.”
She added “I think Calvin and I have both been very over whelmed with the emotion of the last two weeks. But most importantly a big thank you to everyone who has supported Calvin on his journey and given him a platform, especially Anna Kennedy Online, Dorset Mind and all the members of the local Dorset music community. Without them none of this would have been possible.”
A few weeks ago Calvin also collected his Diana Award for his charitable work.
