12 Jul Artist Charlie Johnson donates painting to Essex CTC
A heart patient has kindly donated a painting of the Colne Estuary to Colne Ward at The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre (CTC), where he received care following his surgery.
Artist Charlie Johnson, who lives in Mistley (just outside Manningtree), underwent a successful triple heart by-pass in May this year. He was so impressed with the treatment he received that he decided to donate one of his works to the CTC.
