Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, has announced a new appointment and three promotions within its Chelmsford-based Commercial Risk team, underlining its commitment to client service.
Sean Brady has joined Aon as client service adviser, bringing a decade’s experience in commercial insurance gained across a broad range of client sectors and business sizes. Originally from Malta, Sean began his insurance career there before relocating to the UK, developing extensive experience working with commercial clients in both markets.
Sean said:
“I have always enjoyed working with a diverse range of clients across different sectors, as it has enabled me to develop broad experience and knowledge that can be applied to a wide variety of client challenges.
“Aon is one of the most recognised and respected names in the industry and the opportunity to join the Chelmsford team was an exciting one. I am particularly looking forward to working with new colleagues, continuing to build strong client relationships and further developing my knowledge of the hospitality sector.”
Sean’s appointment comes at the same time as a series of promotions within the team.
Emma Gillings, who has worked for Aon for more than 10 years focusing on multinational clients across a range of sectors, was recently promoted to client manager.

Meanwhile, Dave Westall, who has amassed over 13 years’ insurance industry experience, has been promoted to broking manager, and Simon Clench, who has worked in the insurance industry for 20 years has been promoted to client service specialist.
