Strictly Come Dancing 2017 kicked off on Saturday and an average audience of 9.3 million – peaking at 10.2 million watched the first live ‘Strictly’ of this series whoop!
I must say I was impressed with the celebrity dancers for their first dance and I was impressed by new judge Shirley Ballas I think she has made an impact already. I think she just needs to settle in now after the first show is over.
My favourite couples at the minute are Aston and Jeanette oozing style, Alexandra and Gorka showing sheer elegance, Debbie and Giovanni showing complicated choregraphy already closely followed by the lovely bubbly Chizzy showing off her moves.

“What an opening to Strictly come Dancing which I would consider to be the highest standard ever of an opening show. Stand outs for me are Debbie McGee and Aston Merrygold. I just hope they can keep this level of fantastic all the way.”
“This of course is only the first show. There is alot of growth to be made and I cannot wait to see what happens next week when we see all the dancers perform their second dance. Who will be in that dreaded first elimination!”
