An ideal commute on an old Centurion route – housebuilder launches scheme in Kelvedon

03 Dec An ideal commute on an old Centurion route – housebuilder launches scheme in Kelvedon

Five-star housebuilder, CALA Homes, has unveiled two stunning four-bedroom detached showhomes at its Aylett’s Green development this month, in the historic village of Kelvedon.

The professionally interior-designed showhomes allow prospective buyers the opportunity to tour both homes, discover the lifestyle on offer, and experience what it would be like to live on the new 238-home development.

Situated on the village-edge of Kelvedon – a former Roman town – Aylett’s Green will include a collection of 143 private 1 and 2 bed apartments, 2 bed bungalows, and 2 to 5 bed homes, starting at £249,950. The development also incorporates 95 affordable homes, provided by Sage Housing.

The showhomes include The Hothope and The Wooler 4-bed detached homes, which offer light and spacious interiors, a modern design and a quality specification throughout.

The homes on the development will range in size from 547 – 2,397 sq.ft, and are expected to suit homebuyers across all walks of life, whether you’re a first-time buyer, growing family, or downsizer, the first homes will be available to move into in early 2022.

Surrounded by open spaces, countryside and historic towns and villages, Aylett’s Green is a short walk from the village centre’s modern amenities and its train station, with direct lines to London Liverpool Street in less than an hour, and the A12 and A120 towards London, Chelmsford, Ipswich and Norwich not far away.

Aylett’s Green is also an ideal location for those who might be working from their work office a few days a week and longing for more greenery whilst working from home.

Kelvedon village amenities include a village shop, post office, pharmacy, health centre, fishmonger, butchers, and a range of eateries, with a good selection of nearby primary and secondary schools.

A central open space on the development will be home to an art sculpture and seating area. CALA is set to reveal further details of its project in due course, which will enable the community of Kelvedon to have their say on which design they’d like to see take pride of place within the development.

There is also an abundance of open spaces around the development which are made up of walking routes, an ecology area, a naturalistic play area for children to enjoy, which will include mounds, undulations and boulders to truly spur their imagination, in addition there is the creation of a central pond which is set to create a haven for wildlife, with woodland, wetland, waterbodies, wildflower and species rich grasslands providing shelter.

Glenn Copper, Sales and Marketing Director for CALA Homes (North Home Counties) comments, “CALA has a strong track record in delivering aspirational new homes across Essex, and the new homes at Aylett’s Green are no exception.

“Aylett’s Green will create a vibrant new community, and the opening of the showhomes to the public will be the first opportunity for house hunters to glimpse the lifestyle on offer at the development and view the quality design and finish that CALA Homes is renowned for.

“We’re also offering a range of support to help people move, for homebuyers at all stages – with tailored incentives such as Help To Buy, Assisted Move and Part Exchange available to purchasers.

“The CALA team are on hand to provide information designed to make the move to your dream home as straight forward as possible, and we’d urge anyone interested in a home at Aylett’s Green to visit the sales team and showhomes to avoid missing out.”

“With all of this in mind, we’re expecting Aylett’s Green to be exceptionally popular, so we would encourage anyone considering a move to book a showhome appointment with us and contact our expert sales consultants for more information.”

Prices start from £539,950 for a three bedroom detached home with garage.

The Aylett’s Green showhomes will be open to the public from 10:30am-5pm.
