Alexio is an up and coming rapper from New York. In late 2017 Alexio decided to pursue a music career and started making records with a studio set up in a basement. Throughout 2018 and 2019 Alexio took time to find his sound and become a full-fledged artist. In May 2019 Alexio debuted his first single “Low Low” now he’s ready to rise fast and make waves.

‘Low Low’ has got to be one of the hottest hits in the clubs right now. The progression of the bass is moving and fitting for the themes of the track. The kicks, snares, claps and hi-hats will have your head bopping to this track. The flow executed by Alexio is flawless and catchy. The lines in the track are light hearted and sure to catch the attention of all listeners. This track embraces the fun, light-hearted, party side of music while maintaining a sense of professionalism and class.

We had a chat with him!

Thanks for coming through ALEXIO. First things first, how would you
describe your sound?
I would describe my style as a combination of new school
alternative hip hop with witty lyricism. When I make a song I do it to
get hyped and make it so listeners can get hyped up too. I want you
to think of my music when you’re having your best times.

And of course you have a new project ‘LOW LOW’ . Tell us about that
and the process involved in creating it?
I had the hook written in my notepad before I found the beat. Once I
found the beat I knew it would work and then I finished writing the
verses. I practiced recording the song in my home studio to see
how it hits then I took it to a professional studio to finish the
record. Overall it took me like 3 weeks to finish.

What are some of the themes and concepts you included on this
project?
Low Low is about getting live and having a good time I think Low
Low is one of those songs that if you hear in a club or at a party
everyone goes crazy.

The song has since garnered quite a good reception on .What has the
reception to ‘‘LOW LOW’ been like on your end?
The people around me really like the song and people online tell me
they like it too.

Any particular bands or artists you took inspiration from?
My biggest inspirations are Drake The Weeknd Chris Brown and
Trey Songz

What are your hopes for the new single ‘LOW LOW’?
I hope that Low Low can introduce me to a lot of new people out
there and show them something different that they’ll be into

What can you tell us about your plans for the rest of 2019?

Im going to continue to make records and hopefully drop my next
single before 2019 ends.

What message do you have for your fans out there?
I’m extremely grateful for every fan I have. For all of them out there
you have to get ready to take this journey with me because this is
just the start.
