03 Feb Actor Gerard Butler supports teen filmmaker’s work towards Paisley 2021 bid
He may be one of Hollywood’s hottest leading men but Gerard Butler has offered an insight into his humble Scottish upbringing by sharing the work of Paisley-born teen film maker Morgan Spence.
17-year old Morgan Spence has earned global acclaim for his stop motion videos made using Lego, appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel show in America. His latest work, supporting Paisley in Scotland’s bid to become the UK City of Culture 2021, includes some of Paisley’s most famous faces including Gerard Butler, David Tennant and Paolo Nutini.
Gerard took to Twitter to share support for the teen’s video and for the City of Culture bid. In the days since the video was launched UK political journalist and presenter Andrew Neil has also shared news of the video.
