ACL Essex Launches new Courses for 2022

17 Dec ACL Essex Launches new Courses for 2022

Adult education learning provider, ACL Essex, has launched their latest programme of courses for 2022 enrolment.

There’s over 1000 courses on offer across ACL Essex’s network of adult community centres and online, including mid-term enrolment for fast-track GCSE courses, where learners can pick up a pass within six months.

Adult learners looking to gain new skills, or advance their careers, can sign up to IT and digital programmes as well as accounting, business, beauty, and health and social care courses. Alongside the professional qualifications, ACL Essex also offers programmes to support mental wellbeing, family learning and a variety of creative courses from pottery to jewellery making.

Leading ACL Essex is Katherine Burns, Principal, who is keen for adults in Essex to embrace lifelong learning and find a course that suits their needs. She says: “ACL Essex offers bespoke learning opportunities for all adults across the county. We’re a friendly team here to help learners find a course suitable for them, whether that be a Maths GCSE, a beginner’s computer course or a wellbeing or creative programme. ”

She continued: “Our courses run online and in adult community centres across Essex, they’re a great way to make new friends, grow in confidence and learn new skills. If you’re looking to get back into employment or support with your career development, our courses are ideal to help you reach your goals.”

ACL centres offer a wide range of qualifications and skills, plus apprenticeships and professional learning, as well as core subjects, such as English, Maths, Science and digital. There’s also supported learning for people with learning difficulties, creative and cultural learning, mental health and wellbeing, plus community and family learning.

Prospective learners can view all courses on the website, as well pick up a copy of the 2022 ACL course guide from ACL centres, job centres and libraries across Essex from late-December 2021.
